Ethically-produced, limited edition accessories and apparel line, A Peace Treaty, introduces two new brilliant collections for spring/summer 2012. Created by artisans “to recreate an authentic accessory representative of that demographic”, this season’s Natsu collection of scarves by APT sees Japan collide with the Art Deco era. The collection features kimono-inspired motifs, bold geometric shapes and stencils weaved, blockprinted and dip-dyed by hand, embodying sophisticated minimalism at its best. Wrap these silky cotton, crepe and noile numbers that come in a variety of earthy hues like lilac, taupe, yellow and navy around your neck this spring for the instant win.
ATP’s Solwara jewelry collection doesn’t stray from its core mission of handmade delectables for the uber conscious and the super fashion savvy. Aztecs, Mayans, Papua New Guineans and Amazonian tribes serve as inspiration this season, while metalsmiths and dye aficionados from the Rajasthan region of India create the handiwork for a rich, cultural selection of stackable bracelets, ear cuffs, amulets, talismans, rings and timeless neckpieces. This spring APT inspires us to collect them all. Are you inspired?
