BET does well by honoring the victims of the 7.0 earthquake that ravaged through parts of Haiti just two years ago, with a special 106 and Park Haiti-dedicated edition airing tonight at 6pm.
The show will feature its hosts Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz alongside former Fugee all stars and Haitian-American musicians Pras and Wyclef via a live video call (Apple’s Facetime), who will discuss the current scene in Haiti, their thoughts on where to go from here in addition to lending insight as to how they’re contributing to the restoration process through their non-profit organizations Yéle (Wyclef’s) and Embrace Haiti Now (Pras’). Also being featured is a special “current state of Haiti” recap, narrated by the top rated show’s hosts, through a special partnership with Project Medishare, a non-profit organization that has been fostering health, education and community development in Haiti since 1994.
Be sure to tune in tonight.
