User interface designer and cofounder of Push Pop Press, Mike Matas, always seems to be on a journey, documenting everything he sees via his Canon 5D Mark II. While his series of short films span five minutes or less each, the former Apple employee offers a digestible chunk of his perspective on the go. Whether it was his trip to Morocco and Spain (where he traveled 1,000 miles in two weeks and captured 4,000 photos to make the resulting two-minute film), a bike ride from his San Francisco home through Golden Gate Park to Ocean Beach (with his camera mounted on his basket), or his more recent trip for his ninth film, One Week in Japan, Matas has found his passion for improving the way we explore technology through stunning visuals, which he shares with the world. We likey.
